AI use: Evidence found

Did Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic use generative AI?

We found source-linked indications of generative AI use for this game. Read the cited disclosures or reports for the exact scope.

This check covers generated art, writing, audio and other content, plus development tools when disclosed. Scripted enemy behavior and ordinary procedural generation do not count. Lack of evidence does not prove no AI was used.

What the sources say

  • Content made before release

Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic shipped with AI-generated UI/icon art that an outsourcing vendor provided; Hooded Horse and the developer discovered those AI-generated icons in the shipped game and patched the AI assets out of the release build. [3][2]

  • Development workflow

Publisher Hooded Horse added an explicit contract clause banning generative-AI assets in games it publishes and stated that the clause was tested when AI-generated images were found in Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic (the publisher described removing the offending assets). [3][1]
