1. Agreement
By accessing or using Is it Woke? at isitwoke.io ("the Site"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
2. Nature of the service
The Site provides satirical, opinionated commentary and algorithmically generated scores and text about movies, TV, books, and games. Content is for entertainment and informational purposes only. It is not professional advice (legal, financial, or otherwise) and not a substitute for your own judgment or research.
3. No guarantees
We do not warrant accuracy, completeness, or availability of the Site or any score, verdict, or analysis. The service may change, pause, or discontinue at any time without notice.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Site: no unlawful activity, no attempts to disrupt or overload our systems, no scraping or automated access that violates reasonable use, and no use that infringes others' rights.
5. Intellectual property
The Site's branding, layout, and original text (excluding third-party metadata and posters) are owned by the operator of isitwoke.io. Third-party titles, images, and metadata remain property of their respective owners and are used for identification and commentary.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of the Site is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Your sole remedy is to stop using the Site.
7. Affiliate links and commerce offers
Some "watch", "play", or "read" links on the Site are affiliate or sponsored commerce links (for example via Amazon Associates, Sovrn Commerce, or direct retailer partnerships). We may earn a commission if you make a purchase after clicking one of these links, at no extra cost to you. Links are routed through an internal redirect (/go/…) for tracking and use rel="sponsored nofollow". Which offer is shown first is chosen for user usefulness (availability, trusted retailers, and access you already have) and expected value, never solely to maximize our commission.
8. Sponsored campaigns and the advertiser portal
We sell clearly labeled sponsored placements (see /advertise). Sponsored content is reviewed before publication, always marked "Sponsored", and never changes a woke score, verdict, ranked-list position, or community vote. If you sign up for the advertiser portal, you are responsible for the accuracy of your campaign creative and for complying with applicable advertising law. We may reject, suspend, or cancel a campaign that violates these terms, our editorial independence policy, or the law; approved payments for a cancelled-for-cause campaign may be withheld pro-rata for the unused period.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
